Advance Orders

Every year we bring in a wider variety of trees shrubs and perennials.  For 2011, we were up to about 200 varieties.  But there are still hundreds more we don't bring in and, in many cases, we buy in a limited number of those we do stock.  The demand for all trees and shrubs is high and supplies are limited in many cases.  Often what we order for spring is all that will be available for the entire season.

Every year we are faced with having to anticipate what our customers might want the following year.  Complicating the situation is that we are ordering stock for sale 1 to 5 years into the future.  We frequently guess wrong and bring in too many or too few of something both of which increase our costs.

On the other side, customers are sometimes disappointed because we don't have a particular variety, are out of stock or have the wrong size.  Placing an advance order for next year helps solve all of these problems.  You will have a much better chance of getting what you want in the numbers and sizes you want.  We save money by not having to guess at what to order so we can offer a 10% discount on all orders you place by March 30, 2014.

What should you order in advance?  Of course you can order any and everything but there are some things we strongly urge you to order in advance:  Fruit trees and berry bushes are always among the first things our suppliers run out of; larger trees, especially of slower growing species such as spruce, ash etc. are in high demand; large numbers of anything.

Here's how it works: Make a list of the trees, shrubs and perennials you want and the sizes you want.  Get that list to us with complete contact information by March 30, 2014 and we will include your requirements with our orders.  No deposit is required at this time.

We have a set date from our suppliers for finalizing our spring orders.  We will contact you the beginning of April and ask you to confirm your order.  To confirm your order we will require a 25% deposit by April 15/2014.  Your order will be available for pickup on or before opening day scheduled for May 7/11.  Orders not confirmed by April 15 may be cancelled.

That's all there is to it.
